Burrito - a universal dish that came from a distant Mexico. The main ingredient of the traditional burrito is a soft wheat tortilla. Interestingly, the filling can be quite varied: from meat to fruit.

  • 6 special wheat tortillas - tortillas
  • 1 package of rice with vegetables of the trademark "Uvelka"
  • 1 can (400 g) of canned red beans
  • 1 can (400 g) of canned sweet corn;
  • 1 large or 2 small green hot peppers;
  • 150 grams of grated hard cheese (cheddar cheese is ideal);
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 4 tomatoes;
  • 1 red onion;
  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • Half a red hot pepper;
  • Faded lemon halves;
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.


- First you need to make tomato salsa. Expecting this, rinse the tomatoes and peppers thoroughly and dry them. Cut the tomatoes into 2 parts, remove the seeds from the peppers. Peel the onions and garlic.Half of hot red pepper and the same amount of onion cut into small cubes and set aside;

- Half a green pepper, a tomato, not chopped half an onion, lemon zest and garlic must be chopped with a blender until smooth;

- The resulting mass must be transferred to a bowl and add lemon juice and chopped onion;

- Boil "Rice with vegetables", according to the instructions on the box, let cool.

- Drain liquid from cans of corn and beans. Take a large bowl and mix in it beans, rice, corn, chopped red pepper, cilantro and grated cheese;

- Next, you need to take the cakes and put on them 4 tablespoons of rice mixture, put tomato salsa on top of the rice;

- Tortillas should be wrapped in a tight envelope. Burritos are almost ready. It remains to preheat the oven to 200 degrees, lubricate the form with oil and put the tortillum seam down. Place the rice mixture between the burritos.

- Dish should be covered with foil and baked for 15 minutes.

- Serve hot with leftover salsa.
