Candace Cameron Bure's Must-Have Beauty Product Is Something You Already Own
It's safe to assume celebrities like Candace Cameron Bure use at least a few expensive beauty products — who wouldn't if they had access to them? But no amount of money or fame can make you forget that some classic drugstore products belong in everyone's bathroom.
While discussing her new bookStaying Stylish: Cultivating a Confident Look, Style, and Attitude, Candace recently toldUs Weeklythat the beauty product she relies on most is a drugstore staple most of us have had in our homes our whole lives.
"Vaseline is kind of like my go-to product that kind of works for a million things," she gushed. And she's not kidding! "I use it on my lips. I can take off my eye makeup with it. I can also put it on cuts. Lots of multiple uses for Vaseline."
Of course, she does splurge on some products, like her current moisturizer, The Method: Nourish by Lancer (5,sephora.com). But most of the elements of her skincare regimen can be found in a range of prices.
"Sometimes cooling eye gel pads are my best friend, especially after long flights," she says. "I love those masks that you can put on — they're very cooling and refreshing and moisturizing."
She also emphasizes how important sun protection is in her routine.
"I won't leave home without sunscreen either," she insists. "I have the type of skin that I go out in the sun for five minutes, I have a new sunspot on my face."
More important to Candace's beauty routine than sunscreen, however, is confidence.
"True beauty comes from the inside out.
