The unusual combination of salty broth and sweetish fruits is traditional for Armenian cuisine. At first glance, it seems not very attractive, but it is worth trying, and you will change your idea of ​​it. We found this interesting recipe in the book Armenian Cuisine, published by Eksmo Publishing House in 2014.

Cooking method:

Fry onion in olive oil until soft.

Cook lentils until half cooked in 1.5 liters of water. Then add rice, reduce the heat and cook for another 15 minutes.

Dried apricots and raisins washed, scalded with boiling water. Walnuts are chopped. We combine all our ingredients, salt and pepper to taste.

When serving, decorate with parsley.
