“Blue Farnese” is a real treasure. A rare diamond weighing 6.1 carats was mined at the mine in the mines of Golconda and has an amazing legend. In 1715, the king of Spain, Philip V., presented him to his bride as a wedding gift. For three hundred years, a hereditary diamond was kept in the jewelry collections of the Bourbon and Habsburg dynasties (according to rumors, even decorated the diadem of the Queen of France, Marie Antoinette!). And now, after so many years, “Blue Farnese” got into the auction house and was put up for auction, in order to dazzle everyone around with its brilliance and disappear again in a private jewelry collection.
